“Hi Bonnie,

I just want you to know that I completed the Airplane Adventures Book for my granddaughter’s birthday tomorrow. I have to tell you how much I enjoyed stitching out this project. Your digitizing is A-1. Everything stitched out wonderfully and I am ‘sew’ thrilled with my finished book. Usually I have trouble stitching out fonts but not with your designs. I love the font you chose for this project.

I stitched out most of the plane’s windows with silver metallic thread with no problems. (I used gold for the Twirling airplane). I used scraps of material I had on hand. For the “Fast” airplane I used the insulation for oven mitts with the shiny side out. I added Swarovski crystals for the bunny’s eyes and one for the turtle too.

I have attached pictures of my finished book for you to see. I hope this becomes a keepsake.

Thanks again for your great digitizing talents.”

In-Hoop Designs: “Airplane Adventures Book

One of the most enjoyable parts of the embroidery design business is seeing the creative ways that people interpret and use the designs, putting so much thought into their work. And the finished products are usually intended for others to enjoy. Even Better!

Jannette sent in this view of the cover to her book with these comments: “Hi Bonnie, I just wanted to say how brilliant your book was (picture attached) and I still had to add the rings. I have now finished it for my Grandson’s 1st birthday and was wondering at some time in the future you might consider doing a car book. That would be so fantastic so then I wouldn’t have to give the other Grandson the same one for his 1st birthday.”

(FYI: Bonnie is test sewing the Car Buddies book as this is being typed!)

Airplane Adventures Book

From Barbara L.: Made this little book for my Nephew 1 yr old. It is an applique, in the hoop project, and the digitizing was absolutely perfect. The instructions that came with the design were explicit. Would recommend this digitizer to all.

Marjorie Busby sent in this clever take on the “Airplane Adventures” book. She constructed it so that no rings are used for binding the book together. Below are her comments about the digitizing quality of the set:

“The reason I learned to digitize was because I hated spending $$ on ME sets that didn’t stitch well or the stitch order was not optimized. I have found that that the set I purchased from you (is) digitized beautifully and I have enjoyed stitching your work.”

“I added my own twist to the storybook - I’m not much of an I(n) T(he) H(oop) person. Really enjoyed the M(achine) E(mbroidery) set. It stitched out very nicely.”

Marjorie contributed to the “Craftsy” Embroidery blog with instructions on how she constructed the book. Find those at http://www.craftsy.com/blog/2013/06/machine-embroidery-storybook/
